Une exposition naturelle exceptionnelle

Du 5 juin au 30 novembre 2025, le Muséum de Bordeaux - Sciences et Nature présentera Orang-Hutan, l’homme de la forêt, une installation visuelle au Carré Art et Sciences. Cette présentation inédite invite le public à croiser le regard de Besar, un orang-outan de 17 ans naturalisé en 2024, témoin silencieux d’un monde en voie de disparition.

Croisez le regard de Besar

La scénographie, épurée et sans texte explicatif, invite ainsi à une réflexion personnelle. Au centre de la salle, le regard de Besar interpellera les visiteurs, les confrontant à la disparition programmée de son espèce. Autour de lui, huit grandes photographies illustreront les ravages causés par l’activité humaine sur l’habitat de ces grands primates.
Avec Orang-Hutan, l’homme de la forêt, le Muséum de Bordeaux poursuit sa mission de sensibilisation aux enjeux environnementaux. Cette présentation, bien au-delà de la mise en valeur d’un spécimen exceptionnel, questionnera notre responsabilité dans la disparition des espèces et la place que nous accordons réellement au vivant dans sa diversité.
